Spoiler for Monday December 8th, 2014 and Tuesday December 9th, 2014
Roongta meets up with Abhyankar at the airport and informs that Arjun is not responding as they had an arquement and if Arjun is not coming, there will be no expedition. Anjali and Aakaash are delighted to see each other at the airport and they join Roongta & Abhyankar. The last call for the flight is made and just then Arjun reaches the airport to everyone's surprise and Roongta's relief. Roongta tells Arjun that he wants to protect Arjun and has made sure that no one will get to know about his past. Just then, a cleaning staff Narayan recognizes Arjun as his childhood friend from the orphanage but Arjun excuses himself from there. Inside the washroom Arjun recalls his days in the orphanage with Narayan. Coming out he bumps into Narayan again who wishes him luck understanding that they belong to different worlds now. Reaching Kathmandu airport the team meets up with Chand who explains the complete trek to the team. The flight to Lukla is announced and the team sets out.
As the team moves towards taking the flight to lukla, Arjun gets a little jittery looking at the size of the aircraft. An instant bond is established between Chand, Anjali & Aakaash. Inside the aircraft Arjun shivers and shakes and when asked by Anjali & Aakaash he shares that he gets paraniod in closed spaces from the time he got stuck in a snow cave for hours in one of his earlier expeditions. The aircraft lands at Lukla. Just when Roongta is about a light a cigerrate, Abhyankar stops him and makes it clear that he will not be allowed to smoke and drink on this expedition. Anjali & Arjun cannot control their excitement as they step out of the Lukla airport. Outside they are welcomed by the Sherpa team led by Sherpa Sirdar Tashi. Along with him are Sherpas Nyima, Pasang & Dorji. The team soaks into the life of Lukla, the tourists, the cafes, fellow mountaineers, prayer flags and the team starts to trek towards the base camp.
