Zee TV's Sapne Suhame Ladakpan Ke is all set to close shop on January 26th, 2015 to set place for Hello Paratibha, Mon-Sat at 7.30 PM. The show will be broadcast 6 times per week.
Such is the story of the protagonist of ZEE TV's new offering Hello Pratibha! All of 36, Pratibha is now a mother of two grown up children. Family is her sole priority and she has spent her 16 years of married life in bringing up her children and looking after her in-laws. She has excellently fulfilled her duties for the past 17 years with a smile. She loves her family and feels immense pleasure is being there for them at all times. However, to her family, Pratibha, who before her marriage was a girl filled with hope, ambitions and joy is now a blind spot in the house. All she wants is to be valued by her kids for what she is and not for what she does for them. She wants to be appreciated for the sacrifices she makes for her family. She wants to be an equal voice in decision making and above all, she does not want to be taken for granted!
Will Pratibha set out to re-discover herself and her individuality post her marriage? How will her family react to her decision after 17 years?

Homemaking is a tedious full time job but often in India, the sacrifices of a women looking after the house go completely unnoticed. These are familial obligations which in India only a woman is supposed to shoulder but the drudgery a woman experiences eternally in a marriage as a housewife is never a matter of concern. She cooks, cleans runs the house but has no say in the important issues. She is the hands, legs and eyes of the family but has no voice. She dutifully looks after her husband's children's needs and in-laws needs, only to be scorned at or completely ignored. Pratibha, 36, is the mother of two. She got married at the tender age of 19 and has spent the past 17 years coping up with her duties, proving herself time and again of being an excellent homemaker. She has handled all her struggles and responsibilities with a smile; even when her kids, her husband and in laws took her for granted.
However, with time, Pratibha realizes that home making is a tedious, never ending, thankless job and starts feeling that her marriage has turned into more of a trap from than the once loving and nurturing relationship it was. Now that the kids have grown up, it dawns to her that in the past 17 years she had forgotten all about her own dreams and ambitions. Pratibha now wishes to fulfill her dreams and earn the respect of her family.
With the never ending familial obligations, will Pratibha ever set out to re-discover herself and her individuality? Will her family which has always been a priority in Pratibha's life accept her decision and support her?
