Abhyankar wants Chand, all Sherpas and Arjun for the rescue mission. Upon hearing this Anjali pleads Abhyankar to include her in the rescue mission but he denies saying that he wouldn't like to jeopardise her life. She leaves from his tent unable to bear the pain of her dream coming to an end. Arjun tells Roongta that their deal was Mission Everest not some rescue mission but Roongta tries to lures him building a flowery image of his wealthy and successful future and the fact that once they rescue he can move ahead to summit and get the Sarpech. Though Arjun is not convinced, just then Reena excuses Arjun from Roongta, she tells him that she was sorry for cursing him and is proud of him that he is going for a rescue mission and that he has to come back safe for her. Dr. Roshan comes to meet Shikha who can clearly see that Roshan is hurt & upset because she loves Aakaash but Aakaash loves Anjali. Shikha empathises with Roshan. Back at base camp Anjali bursts out her frustration on Aakaash who understands what she is going through.

Khanna's calculation indicates that the rescue team will need another member. Both Aakaash and Anjali are called in Abhyankar's tent and he tells that they need another person and he has decided who that person will be. Arjun overhears part-conversation between Abhyankar, Anjali and Aakaash and is upset to learn that Anjali has joined the expedition. Arjun tells Roongta that if he is the the force behind this mission than he has to make sure that Anjali is not a part of this expedition as Arjun fears that she will hog all the limelight and success more than him or Century Corp. Roongta is left with no option and as he reaches Abhyankar's tent, he overhears and learns that it is actually Aakaash and not Anjali who has been chosen by Abhyankar. Thanking his luck Roongta tells Arjun that he has done his part of the deal and now he should only concentrate on getting the Sarpech. Anjali tries her best to convince Abhyankar to take her but Abhyankar does not budge from his decision. As she storms out of Abhyankar's tent Aakaash tries to console her even offering to decline Abhyankar's order of joining him but Anjali tells him that she does not want this opportunity as a favour but on her own capability and that is all the reason she is here. Arjun gives a final media byte to Reena who wishes him luck. Jagat is happy to learn that Anjali is out of the expedition.► Wednesday January 7th, 2015
Roongta and Arjun get into another argument where they threaten each other with their power, Roongta wants him to summit irrespective of the weather conditions. A heartbroken Anjali speaks to her mother who consoles her and asks her to come back. Khanna gives an update of the rescue teams current position in an interview to Reena. Upon Aakaash's asking, Abhyankar tells him why he choose Aakaash over Anjali. Roongta patronises Anjali by sharing that he understands what she must be going through now that her dream is shattered. Khanna is unable to get in touch with Nasir and updates Abhyankar who asks Khanna to keep trying. Aakaash shoots Arjun and he moves too close to a serac trying to show off and just then he is warned by Abhyankar and Chand to stop his antics and follow the rules, there is no other way. As the team crosses one of the crevasse Aakaash gets frozen and almost sits on the ladder.► Thursday January 8th, 2015
The team inspires Aakaash to move on and finally Aakaash makes it to the other side. Anjali tells Reena that it is not that she has given up but this was her last chance as she will be married to Vidhaan. Back in Jodhpur, Vidhaan sees Maithili entering the park for a morning jog. He pretends and bumps into her asks her out for tea. As the team continues to trek, Arjun again sneaks towards a large serac trying to show off and to everyone's shock the serac crumbles and collapses falling right towards a running Aakaash and Arjun. Hearing this sound Khanna tries to get in touch with the team, Aakaash walkies back telling all is fine and they saw a Yeti. The Yeti is no one but Arjun who is fully covered with snow from head to toe. The team has a hearty laugh over it. Vidhaan tells Maithili that he does not think that Anjali is his types and may someone like her is more of his types. The team moves on crossing another crevasse. Back in the base camp Khanna is still perplexed about the malfunctioning of his system and he calls his tech wizard son to help him probe further into it.► Friday January 9th, 2015
As the team treks ahead, Arjun gets into an impromtu dance imagining Everest in his arms. Abhyankar remembers the time when he was learning Salsa with Tara, their steps manoeuvring like one has to in the Khumbu glacier. Anjali calls Maithili while she still is with Vidhaan. Maithili tells her that it is not right to keep Vidhaan in the dark if she is in love with Aakaash. Anjali decides that it is time to make her own decisions and soon she emerges from her tent in complete mountaineering gear looking straight ahead at the Khumbu glacier. Reena interviews Dr. Balan but they are interrupted by Roongta who dismisses Balan's real but grim analysis of the dangers of expedition. Feeling snubbed Dr. Balan leaves. Roongta gets angry and forces the camera to stop when Reena grills him asking questions about the dying image of his company, mismanagement of funds, corruption and the strife with his family. As the team crosses the 9th crevasse, a low rumbling sound is heard followed by a big movement in the glacier and everybody is thrown off ground. Reacting to this loud sound base camp tries to get in touch with the rescue team but there is no response. The glacier movement also throws Anjali off balance as she dangerously moves towards a crevasse on Khumbu. Nima who is the last one trying to cross the ladder sits down to maintain his balance as the bridge sways wildly.► Saturday January 10th, 2015
Abhyankar and all the sherpas keep motivating Nima to get up and cross the crevasse but he is completely frozen there. Roongta's patience is running out as no contact is established. Finally Abhyankar walkies and the team at the base camp is relieved after talking to him. Sarita calls to talk to Anjali but Khanna tells her that he will ask her to call back as she is not around. Nima slowly tries to cross the ladder-bridge but another violent shake cuts loose the ladder from one end and Nima falls into the crevasse. They all shout to get a response from Nima but moments later Pasang sees a streak of blood on the wall and there fears come true, Nima is dead. The team is devastated as Abhyankar updates Khanna about the loss of Nima. Anjali breaksdown when she hears about Nima's death from Aakaash. A concerned Khanna wonders and asks Abhyankar if under these circumstances if the team is going to move ahead. Fearing that the mission will abort Roongta argues with Khanna and tells him not to de-motivate the team.Watch Everest Monday-Saturday on +STAR Plus .
