Zee TV's popular drama Jamai Raja is leaving no stone to entertain the viewers with its compelling storyline and fine performances. Amidst all the ongoing drama of Sid (Ravi Dubey) & Roshni's (Nia Sharma) divorce, ardent followers of the show are up for a major twist as actor KC Shankar enters the show as DD's (Achint Kaur) husband and Roshni's father who makes a surprising comeback in everyone's life. The proficient actor who has made a mark with his varied roles across theatre, films, television and commercials has been roped in to play an integral part in Zee TV's leading primetime drama.
As per the current track, Sid and Roshni have separated and are heartbroken. In a surprising twist, the character of Shiv Narayan Patel (KC Shankar) will enter leaving everyone surprised with his suden appearance... Shiv Narayan has left his family without giving any reason. His entry will happen at a crucial juncture where DD has finally got her home & property back and throws a party to celebrate the occasion. With an air of mystery around his character, viewers will be left guessing on why did he choose to leave his family and what is his real motive to return home!
Speaking of his role, KC Shankar says "After doing an interesting mix of work in television, theatre & films, I was looking forward to something more challenging as an actor. So, when I was offered the role of Shiv Narayan Patel, I readily agreed to do it as his presence will add an intrigue quotient to the plot. He left his family without any reason and now he is back all of a sudden. My character Shiv will be seen as a happy go lucky, funpersonality but at the same time, there will some instances, which will leave everyone wondering that what lies beneath this exterior... I have shot couple of episodes and it has been a pleasure to work with the Jamai Raja team. Â Viewers will surely witness some high octane drama in the forthcoming episodes."
